  PAPER PRESENTATION

1.    Team members may be 2 or 3 members 

2.    Paper should be in IEEE Format.

3.    Presentation should not exceed 10 minutes including queries.

4.    send your soft copies.

5.    A4 size 7 pages maximum (Font: Times new roman, Size:12) 

6.    All participants should register through mail. 

7.    Judge's decision would be final.

                 PROJECT EXPO

         Team composition:

  • Maximum team size per project (usually 2-4 students). 
  • All team members must be registered and present during the expo. 
  • Project requirements:
  • Projects must be relevant to the student's field of study. 
  • Working model is essential for most projects, with proper functionality demonstrated. 
  • Detailed project report including introduction, design, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion should be submitted. 
  • Clear and concise project abstract for presentation. 
        Presentation guidelines:
  • Designated presentation time per team. 
  • Use of visual aids like slides, posters, and diagrams to explain the project clearly. 
  • Effective communication skills, including clear explanation of technical aspects and answering questions from judges. 
         Judging criteria:
  • Innovation and creativity of the project concept 
  • Technical soundness and implementation 
  • Practical application and potential impact 
  • Presentation quality and clarity 
  • Registration and participation:
  • Mandatory student ID card to be presented at the expo 
  • Registration deadline with project details and team members 
  • Proper attire and professional conduct during the expo
     Safety considerations:

  • Adherence to safety protocols when handling equipment and demonstrating projects 
  • Appropriate safety gear may be required depending on the project 

   SHORT FILM

    THEMES:

1.Cyber Safety and Ethics

2.Dream Screens (Emphasizes Imagination and Creativity)

GUIDELINES: 

  1. The participant must be a college student.
  2. The maximum duration for the short film must be 10 minutes.
  3. The short film must be original and no watermark of any kind should be on the film.
  4. The film must be of highest quality possible.
  5.  Adult content of any kind will not be entertained and would lead to direct disqualification.
  6. Due credits must be given to the cast and the crew in the film though the final prize would go to the director(s)
  7. Films in Language other than Tamil should carry subtitles in English.


 Details of submission:
· The film can be submitted in a CD/DVD & Pendrive format which should be sent to the college  address on or attached as a google drive link to the following email id (dblaze2k25 @gmail.com)  before FEB  10 th 2025. 

Judging Parameters

· Films will be judged entirely on the concept, technical aspects etc.

Films will not be uploaded on Facebook/Youtube to get ‘likes’.

· In case of any issues the Judges’ decision is final.

Screening & Awards:

· Best films will be shortlisted  and will be screened on FEB  14-2025.

· Cash prizes along with certificates will be awarded for overall excellence to the director(s)/producer(s) of three short films chosen by judges.

In case of any controversy on a matter not mentioned in the above regulations, the Organizers will decide on appropriate action. The Organizers' word shall be final and binding.
